“I’ve been seeing Austin for back pain for a few months, and he’s fantastic. His focus not just on a quick fix, but resolving the root of my pain really made a difference. He is not only professional, but actually makes treatment enjoyable. Plus he’s never running late on appointments.”

About Austin

I integrate a wide, varied use of Osteopathic techniques, depending on each individual patient’s condition and requirements. This may include manipulation, mobilisation, soft-tissue massage, MET (Muscle Energy Technique), fascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), self-care advice and injury-preventative exercises.

During my training, I worked with a wide variety of patients with sports injuries and rehabilitation at the BSO Sports Clinic. I’ve also worked in a General NHS GP Practice, attended the Chapman and Royal Free Hospital Clinics for HIV patients and have worked with a broad age range of patients from practicing children’s Osteopathy at the 1st Place Clinic, to elderly patients at the Lucy Brown Clinic. After graduating, I continued working at the BSO. I’ve trained in Advanced Spinal Manipulation, Obstetrics and Visceral Osteopathy, too.

I work with the NCOR team, based at the Whitechapel Campus of Queen Mary University of London, helping the organisation by researching and writing articles for the Osteopaths professional journal. I fully understand and can advise on ergonomics and the impact of sitting, working at an office desk all day.

My own personal interest and achievements in sports are with Martial Arts: I’m a black belt in jeet kune do, and in my spare time, I play guitar and compose music.
